Let’s talk about this amazing and simple recipe for Curry Paste. Curry is a blend of spices that is enjoyed often in the Caribbean, especially in Trinidad. This is mainly because most of their dishes have Indian influences.
When I cook with curry I often pair it with a number of other spices. So why not make both our lives easier by whipping up the perfect blend to flavour your favourite curry meals.
INGREDIENTS- CURRY PASTE
This recipe consists of curry powder and other fresh ingredients such as garlic and pimento peppers. You can try adding some hot peppers for some heat.

- 3 Tbs Curry Powder
- 1 Tbs Cumin
- 1 Slice Ginger (1/2 inch long)
- 1/4 Cup Parsley
- 1 Pimento Pepper
- 1/2 Head of Garlic (about 6-7 cloves)
- 1/2 Large Onion
- 1/2 Tbs Lemon Juice
- 1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- PLACE all ingredients in a food processor and blend until it forms a chunky paste.
